This 32-hour training course is designed specifically to train officers and K9 handlers about safety and using fundamentally sound techniques when assuming the role of decoy for police dogs. The students will have the opportunity to experience and develop their decoy skills through hands-on training. Our instructors will cover the basics of K-9 communication between the decoy and the police dog. This training will enhance the student’s ability to prepare their agencies dogs for real world deployments through effective training. With decoy safety being at the forefront of this training.
